June 20th marked  the opening of Direct Development’s Charity Art Show for Ugandan School Children Orphaned by HIV where all proceeds will be sent directly back to DDI partnered schools.

Direct Development’s founder and director, Kelly Heber, recently returned from a trip to the African country with artwork created by the children who had in mind the theme of “Friendship Between Uganda and America.”

As well as children’s artwork, Kelly returned with a great deal of very fine and locally produced Ugandan crafts, all of which will be exhibited and up for sale as well.

The art exhibit and sale will run from June 20th, 2009 until July 20th, 2009 at Volta Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate located in downtown Gainesville, Florida.
