Our volunteers are going to personally deliver collected books throughout May and July of 2009, to help young minds in East Africa, and the Amazon region.
Students in the United States have a multitude of options for financing an education. In places like Entebbe, Uganda, and Belen, Peru, DDI has established links to distribute any collected text books, in order to supplement the learning of students who do not have similar financial options to students in the US. Where a person is born should not affect the quality of their education. This is a reality that DDI is working to ameliorate, in incremental yet hands-on ways.
